Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Savoir Faire Society LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States, with its place of business at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida 33131 ("FCC", "we", "us").
They cover two things: your use of the First Class Lounge at lounge.thefirstclasscitizen.com (the "Lounge"), and anything you buy from us through it. Sections 1–11 are about the Lounge. Sections 12–17 are about buying. The rest applies to both.
By using the Lounge, or by buying something from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Lounge.
Please read section 5 in particular. It describes something that cannot be undone.
1. What the Lounge is
The Lounge is a private place to see and manage your international setup: residencies, citizenships, companies, banking, the obligations that come with them, and the documents behind them. It also carries your billing history with us, and courses explaining how it all works.
The Lounge is a tool for organising and tracking. It is not the advisory service itself, and what it shows you is not advice. See section 9.
2. Who can use it
Access to the Lounge is by invitation. Your concierge prepares your Lounge and sends you a personal setup link; there is no public sign-up. We may decline to open a Lounge, and we may decide who to work with.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. The Lounge is not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we open a Lounge for an organisation, household or family office, the person who accepts the invitation does so on its behalf and confirms they may.
3. Your account
Your setup link is a credential. Anyone holding it can open your Lounge, so treat it as you would a password and do not forward it.
You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password and your second factor to yourself, and tell us at [email protected] as soon as you think someone else has got in.
We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication. If you enrol an authenticator app, keep your backup codes somewhere you will still have them if you lose the device.
You may sign in with a Google account. If you do, Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else.
4. What you may and may not do
Use the Lounge for your own affairs, lawfully, and that is about it. Do not:
- upload anything you do not have the right to upload, or anything unlawful;
- upload someone else's identity documents without their knowledge and consent;
- try to reach data, accounts or Lounges that are not yours;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service, or work around any limit or access control in it;
- use the Lounge to break the law, launder money, evade sanctions, or hide the proceeds of crime;
- scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload malware, or anything designed to interfere with the service or with other people using it.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of these. Where the law requires us to report something, we will.
5. Your vault and the passphrase we cannot reset
Documents you put in your vault are encrypted in your browser, before they reach us, with a key derived from a passphrase you choose. We store the encrypted result. We do not store your passphrase, and we have no copy of your key.
This means we cannot reset it, and we cannot recover your documents if you forget it. Not with proof of identity, not by support request, not at all. There is no back door, because a back door would defeat the point of encrypting them in the first place.
The hint you can set is a reminder for you. It is stored unencrypted and it is not a recovery mechanism.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, and store your passphrase somewhere safe. If you choose to share a document with the FCC team, you are granting us access to that document; that is a deliberate act and you can see what you have shared.
6. Your content
What you put in the Lounge stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
You give us permission to store, process and display it so that we can run the service for you, and to share it with the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy. That permission exists only so the Lounge can work, and it ends when your content is deleted.
You are responsible for your content being accurate and for having the right to give it to us.
7. Information you give us has to be accurate
Much of what the Lounge does depends on what you tell us — when a residency was granted, when a company was formed, which passport it was registered with. Deadlines, renewal reminders and obligations are calculated from those facts.
If the facts are wrong, the deadlines will be wrong. We are not responsible for a missed deadline that follows from incorrect or out-of-date information you gave us, or from information you did not give us.
8. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee
The Lounge tracks obligations and shows what is due when. This is a convenience. It is not a guarantee that we will remind you, that a reminder will arrive, or that a calculated date is correct for your circumstances.
Responsibility for meeting your legal and tax obligations remains yours. Keep your own record of anything that matters, and check important dates against the official source.
9. We do not give legal, tax or immigration advice
Nothing in the Lounge — not the obligations, not the catalogue, not the courses, not the guides, and not anything written to you inside it — is legal advice, tax advice, immigration advice, investment advice or financial advice, unless a separate signed engagement with us says otherwise and names the adviser.
We are not a law firm and not an accountancy firm. Using the Lounge does not create a lawyer-client or comparable professional relationship, and nothing in it is privileged.
Rules change, and they differ by jurisdiction and by person. Before you act on anything you see here, take advice from a qualified professional licensed in the place concerned.
Where the Lounge links to an official source for a rule, that source governs, not our summary of it.
10. Third parties
The Lounge uses other companies to work — for payments, email, storage, error reporting and so on. They are named in the Privacy Policy.
Where you deal with a government body, bank, registered agent or other provider, that relationship is between you and them, on their terms. We are not responsible for what they do or fail to do, and an application we help you prepare may still be refused. Nothing we do guarantees a residency, a citizenship, a bank account, a company registration or any other outcome that somebody else decides.
11. Our intellectual property
The Lounge itself — the software, the design, the courses, the guides, the obligation catalogue and the words in it — belongs to us or to our licensors. You may use it for your own affairs while your account is open. You may not copy, republish, resell or redistribute it, or use it to train a machine learning model.
"The First Class Citizen", "First Class Lounge" and our marks are ours. These terms do not give you a licence to use them.
Buying from us
Sections 12 to 17 apply when you buy something from us — through a promotional page, a pay link, an invoice, or a quote you accept.
12. What you are buying, and what it costs
The page you buy from says what the service is and what it costs. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in the currency shown.
Unless the page says otherwise, the price does not include any tax, duty, bank charge or currency conversion cost that your own bank or your own jurisdiction applies. Those are yours.
An offer is only open while the page is live. We can change or withdraw a price at any time before you buy; a change never affects a purchase already made.
13. Paying
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number — Stripe does, under its own terms and its own security standards. We may also accept bank transfer or, for some purchases, cryptocurrency; those routes are confirmed by hand and access begins once we have confirmed the funds.
Your order is accepted, and this contract is formed, when we confirm the payment — not when you press the button.
If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back, we may suspend access until it is settled. Raising a chargeback without contacting us first is not a substitute for asking us for a refund; please ask us first.
14. When access begins
Unless the page says otherwise, we begin delivering as soon as your payment is confirmed — usually immediately, by opening your Lounge and giving you access to what you bought. Some services also involve scheduled sessions with us, and those are booked separately.
15. Refunds
Refunds are at our discretion and considered case by case. There is no automatic right to a refund under these terms once we have begun delivering.
If something has gone wrong, write to [email protected] with your order and what happened, and we will look at it properly. We would rather fix the problem than argue about it.
This does not affect your statutory rights, including the following.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK
You generally have 14 days from the day the contract is made to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason.
That right does not apply once a digital service has been fully performed, where you gave your prior express consent to us starting within the 14 days and acknowledged that you would lose the right to withdraw by doing so. Where the service has been partly performed, you may be asked to pay for the part already delivered.
To withdraw, tell us at [email protected] within the 14 days. A clear statement is enough; you do not need a particular form.
If you are a consumer elsewhere
Your local law may give you rights that these terms cannot reduce. Where it does, it wins.
16. Subscriptions and renewals
If what you bought renews, the agreement continues for the same period at the then-current price until it is cancelled.
Renewals are invoiced unless you choose automatic renewal. Each renewal raises an invoice, which you settle the same way you settled the first one. If you turn on automatic renewal for a subscription in your Lounge, you authorise us to charge the card you chose (or your default card, if that is what you chose) for each renewal, at the then-current price and interval — the price shown when you agreed, unless we tell you of a change before a renewal, as described below — until the subscription is cancelled or you turn automatic renewal off. You can turn it off, or change the card, from the subscription in your Lounge at any time; the renewals after that are invoiced instead.
An introductory offer renews automatically. Some offers sell a first period at an introductory price and say, on the page where you accept them, what they renew into, at what price and on which date. Accepting such an offer is your choice of automatic renewal: you authorise us to charge the card you paid with (or your default card, if you later make another one your default) on that date and on each renewal after it, at the price shown when you accepted — unless we tell you of a change before a renewal, as described below — until the subscription is cancelled. To stop it, ask us before the renewal date, as described below; you can also turn automatic renewal off from the subscription in your Lounge, and the renewals after that are invoiced instead. What happens if a renewal goes unpaid is in section 18.
To stop a renewal, ask us — from the subscription in your Lounge, or by writing to [email protected]. Your advisor confirms it with you, because ending a paid engagement is a conversation rather than a button. Until it is confirmed the renewal still stands, so ask in good time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are already in.
We may change the price of a renewal by telling you before the renewal date. If you do not want the new price, say so before then.
17. Invoices and receipts
An invoice we have issued is a financial record and cannot be altered or deleted after the fact. If something on it is wrong, we correct it by issuing a credit note or a new document, not by editing the original — which is also why your billing history in the Lounge only ever grows.
The rest
18. Suspending or closing an account
You may stop at any time. Ask us to close your Lounge and we will, subject to records we are legally required to keep — see section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if a payment goes unsettled, if we are required to by law, or if continuing would expose us to legal or reputational risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
If a membership renewal goes unpaid, access to your Lounge is suspended — your vault and documents included — until that renewal is paid. While it is suspended you can still pay the renewal, change the card it is charged to, and manage your account. Nothing is deleted: everything in your Lounge is kept exactly as it was, and access comes back as soon as the payment is confirmed. A renewal we are still retrying does not suspend anything.
Export what you want to keep before you close. After an account is closed we delete what we are not required to keep, and your encrypted documents become unrecoverable — as they would be anyway without your passphrase.
19. Changing these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
If a change materially reduces your rights, we will tell you — by email, or in the Lounge — before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Lounge after that is how you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, close your account.
Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
20. Availability
We work to keep the Lounge available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We deploy changes during the working day, we take it down for maintenance from time to time, and things outside our control break.
The Lounge is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
21. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; for lost profits, lost revenue or lost opportunity; for loss of data; or for any penalty, interest or charge arising from a missed deadline or a rejected application.
- Our total liability to you, for everything, is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes rights your local law gives you.
22. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, your use of the Lounge, or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable losses and legal costs. This does not apply where the claim arises from something we did wrong.
23. Governing law, and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts sitting in Wyoming, and we each agree to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or of your right to bring a claim in your local courts where your law gives you that right.
Before starting anything formal, please write to us. Most things are quicker to fix than to litigate.
24. Odds and ends
- Whole agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any signed engagement or order document between us, are the whole agreement.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest survives and that provision is read as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable.
- No waiver. Not enforcing something once does not give it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business, on notice.
- Language. These terms are written in English. A translation is a convenience; the English governs.
